Description

Assist the Compliance Manager in:


1. Evaluating and monitoring compliance with laws, regulations, and industry guidelines:

  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Stay updated on changes in applicable legislation and regulations and ensure timely implementation of necessary changes.
  • Assess operational practices and policies to ensure compliance with industry guidelines and best practices.


2. Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and update compliance policies and procedures.
  • Communicate and train employees on compliance requirements and ensure their understanding and adherence.
  • Monitor employee compliance with established policies and procedures and address any non-compliance issues.


3. Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies:

  • Identify potential compliance risks within the organization.
  • Develop risk assessment frameworks and conduct regular risk assessments.
  • Propose and implement risk mitigation strategies to prevent or address compliance breaches.


4. Investigate compliance incidents and implement corrective actions:

  • Investigate reported or suspected compliance incidents, including policy violations or unethical behavior.
  • Document investigation findings and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Track and report on the status and resolution of compliance incidents.


5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external parties:

  • Work closely with legal, HR, finance, and other departments to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors during compliance reviews and audits.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams on compliance-related matters.


6. Stay informed about industry compliance trends and updates:

  • Monitor industry trends and updates related to compliance requirements.
  • Attend seminars, conferences, and training sessions to enhance knowledge and understanding of compliance practices.
  • Share relevant information with management and stakeholders to ensure organizational compliance.

Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or any related field. Additional certifications in compliance are advantageous.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Proven experience in compliance roles within the same or similar industry is preferable.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry guidelines.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and objectivity in handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to adjust to changing regulatory environments and adapt compliance strategies accordingly.
