The Company Driver will be responsible for the safe transportation of goods and passengers to and from designated destinations. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to adhere to strict schedules and deadlines. In addition to driving duties, the Company Driver will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the assigned vehicle, including routine inspections and minor repairs as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow all traffic laws and regulations, including speed limits and traffic signals
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on assigned vehicles to ensure the vehicle is sage and in good working conditions, which includes checking oil, brakes, tires, and other components
• Assist with loading and offloading of goods at destination points
• Transport passengers safely to and from designated locations
• Maintain accurate logs of miles traveled and fuel consumption
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to receive and confirm delivery instructions
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
• Report any issues or concerns with vehicles to management
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
• Adequate oral and written communication skills
• Ability to follow rules and regulations
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform minor repairs
• Ability to work flexible hours, which may include nights and weekends
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Candidates must be willing to undergo and pass a driving assessment prior to employment

License/Certification:
