Description
- Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications using COBOL, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring project success and customer satisfaction.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s or College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or a related fields
- Should have at least 3 years of experience in COBOL
- Must have experience in Wealth Management Advisory Solutions
- Strong understanding of COBOL programming language and related technologies.
- Familiarity with mainframe environments, databases (such as DB2 or VSAM), and batch processing.
- Experience with modernizing or refactoring legacy COBOL applications is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
