Description

  • Debt Collection: Contact clients to collect outstanding debts through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
  • Account Management: Maintain accurate records of client accounts, payment histories, and collection activities.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate payment plans and settlements that are acceptable to both the company and the client.
  • Client Communication: Educate clients on their obligations and the importance of timely payments.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed reports on collection activities and outcomes for management review.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection practices.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify issues preventing payment and work with clients to find feasible solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and finance, to resolve client issues.
  • Performance Tracking: Meet or exceed individual and team collection targets and goals.

Requirement

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in debt collection, customer service, or a related role is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate payment plans and settlements professionally.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and propose feasible solutions for clients.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant debt collection laws and regulations.
  • Computer Proficiency: Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport with clients while maintaining professionalism.
  • Time Management: Strong time management skills to handle multiple accounts and deadlines effectively.
