Cashier

Description

  • Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
  • Scan and bag items while ensuring proper pricing and promotions.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit payments, and provide receipts.
  • Assist customers with returns, exchanges, and inquiries.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.

Requirement

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate a point-of-sale system and handle cash accurately.
  • Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
