What a Business Partnership Specialist Looks Forward to Doing Well

The Business Partnerships Specialist leads the strategic development of assigned whale accounts by building C-suite relationships and influencing executive decisions to maximize long-term retention and commercial success.

What you will do

1. Long-Term Footprint & Revenue Scaling.

• Formulate and execute comprehensive, multi-year growth strategies for assigned whale accounts to aggressively scale deployment footprint and accelerate the company's vision.

2. Executive Retention & Commercial Alignment

• Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with C-suite and key decision-makers within partner organizations to ensure long-term commercial alignment and retention.

3. High-Value Ecosystem Monetization 

• Champion the adoption of advanced eTap solutions and supplementary services within existing accounts to generate high-value incremental revenue streams.

4. Complex Risk & Governance Enforcement

• Proactively anticipate and mitigate critical operational risks. 
• Act as the senior escalation point to ensure all account strategies strictly adhere to centralized Information Security and GRC frameworks

5. Strategic Growth Alignment

• Lead high-level Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) for assigned whale accounts, aligning partner objectives directly with eTap’s strategic scaling initiatives.

6. Customized Enterprise Solution Delivery 

• Lead complex, multi-departmental initiatives by orchestrating resources across Business Acquisition, Operations, Product teams and EMSI to deliver customized enterprise solutions.

7. Account Management Coaching and Development

• Act as a senior peer mentor to the broader account management team (IC-1 and IC-2). Coach Junior Specialists on highly integrated negotiation strategies, systemic risk escalation protocols, and best practices for ecosystem monetization to rapidly elevate the division's overall commercial acumen

8. Strategic Contract Governance & Commercial Optimization

• Proactively review and renegotiate , when needed, existing enterprise contracts to secure long-term renewals, optimize commercial terms, and ensure continuous alignment with the group's evolving GRC frameworks and revenue targets.

9. Business Process Improvement & Operational Optimization

• Lead business process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies, streamlining workflows, and implementing standardized, scalable solutions that enhance service delivery, partner experience, operational efficiency, and account growth. 
• Recommend improvements and update SOPs, operational guidelines, and SLAs to ensure consistency, compliance, service excellence, and achievement of performance standards. 
• Conduct process reviews and root-cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities, mitigate risks, and drive continuous operational improvement.

Why You

• Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, or related).
• Advanced CRM proficiency. Certifications in strategic B2B sales or fintech compliance are a plus.
• Minimum of 4 - 5 years experience in Account Management preferable in FMCG, Fintech, Payments, Banking Partnerships, or Self-service Technology 
• Proven experience in handling complex B2B partnerships
• Exposure to end-to-end deal lifecycle, including commercial structuring, Account aftersales management, and implementation coordination
