Stocking & Inventory:

• Restock the bar with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and other necessary supplies.
• Monitor stock levels and notify bartenders or managers when items need replenishing.
• Ensure that all supplies are in their proper places and stored according to safety standards.

Cleaning & Organization:

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the bar area, including wiping down counters, shelves, and glasses.
• Ensure all bar tools, utensils, and glassware are clean and readily available.
• Assist with the cleaning of the bar area at the end of the shift, including cleaning floors and disposing of trash.

Glassware Management:

• Ensure all glassware is clean and available for the bartenders to use.
• Help manage glassware storage and distribution, keeping it organized and fully stocked.

Assisting Bartenders:

• Help bartenders with tasks such as preparing garnishes, opening bottles, and managing drink orders.
• Deliver drinks and food from the bar to customers when required, ensuring speedy service.
• Assist in keeping the bar area free from clutter.

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring guests have a positive experience at the bar.
• Engage with customers when necessary, directing them to bartenders for drink orders or helping with basic needs.
• Ensure that all guests are treated respectfully and professionally.

Adhere to Safety Standards:

• Ensure that all work areas comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Be aware of and follow all local laws related to alcohol service and consumption.
• Help manage the proper handling and storage of alcohol to avoid accidents or inventory loss.

Teamwork:

• Collaborate with bartenders, servers, and other staff members to provide smooth and efficient bar service.
• Help maintain a positive work environment by assisting coworkers when needed.

Other Duties:

• Perform any additional tasks or duties as directed by the Bar Manager or Head Bartender.

• Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
• Knowledge of alcohol safety and responsible drinking practices is a plus.
• Must be of legal drinking age as per local laws.
