The Automated Powder Coating Process Supervisor will oversee and manage the powder coating operations, focusing on automated or electrostatic systems. The role involves supervising the production team, ensuring the quality of coatings, and maintaining efficiency throughout the process. This includes monitoring conveyorized coating systems, troubleshooting equipment issues, ensuring proper pretreatment for different materials, and meeting quality control metrics. The supervisor will also train team members, resolve conflicts, and make process adjustments to optimize performance and product quality.

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification in industrial manufacturing, coating technology, or a related field is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in powder coating, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of electrostatic spray systems and conveyorized automated processes.
• Knowledge of pretreatment requirements for various metals and materials to ensure adhesion.
• Experience in quality control metrics such as coating thickness, environmental control, and gun calibration.
• Proficient in troubleshooting equipment and optimizing process variables.
• Excellent team management and communication skills.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work in an environment with exposure to powder coatings and industrial equipment.
