Description

  • The Executive Housekeeper oversees the cleanliness and maintenance of all guest rooms and public areas within a hotel or facility. This role ensures high standards of cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency while managing a team of housekeeping staff.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control: Establish and maintain cleanliness standards; conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance.
  • Budget Management: Manage the housekeeping budget, including labor costs and supply purchases; monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency during peak times.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations; implement and monitor safety practices and emergency procedures.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Address guest concerns and feedback regarding housekeeping services; ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., front desk, maintenance) to ensure smooth operations and address any issues promptly.
  • Reporting: Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff attendance, maintenance requests, and inventory reports.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices; implement new cleaning techniques and technologies to enhance efficiency.

Requirement

  • Educational Qualifications: Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Experience Level: Requires 3-5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, showcasing a successful customer engagement and satisfaction track record.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in housekeeping management or a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; attention to detail.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with cleaning products and techniques, budgeting, and inventory management.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
