Description

  • Assist the Purchasing Manager in sourcing, negotiating and purchasing feed, medical supplies, equipment, construction materials and other necessary items for the Piggery Business.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with the Production and Sales departments to ensure timely procurement of materials and goods to meet the needs of the business.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to procurement and supply chain management.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities related to procurement.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant information.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Support the Purchasing Manager in other related tasks and projects as needed.
