Description

 Area Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations, sales, and performance of multiple Branches. It involves ensuring that each store meets its sales targets, delivers high-quality customer service, and maintains the brand standards. The Area Manager will work closely with store managers to implement strategies, provide training, and drive business growth.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the daily operations of stores within the assigned area to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assess and train Salon Staff, as needed
  • "Organizing employees’ shifts, considering peak times and seasonality"
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and maximize profitability
  • Ensure stores provide excellent customer service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities.
  • Analyze financial statements and ensure cost control and profitability.
  • Order products and replenish stock
  • Arrange for regular maintenance services for all equipment
  • Apply hygiene practices across all beauty stations
  • Receive payments from clients and track all transactions
  • Keep updated records of costs and revenues (e.g. daily, monthly and quarterly)
  • Maximising profitability and meeting sales targets, including motivating staff 
  • Dealing with customer queries and complaints
  • Ensuring promotional materials and displays are in updated

Requirements

  • Requires a minimum of 2 years’ Managerial experience with sales background
  • Proven experience in managing multiple priorities simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Should possess feedback skills at all levels; push back, challenge status quo in and out of the office and strong motivational feedback.
  • Must have negotiation, problem solving & decision making skills.
  • Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work proficiently with sales target quota and be disciplined to work without constant guidance and supervision.
  • Ability to decipher various reports and create reports upon request.
  • Must be able to work efficiently within a team environment.
  • Must be able to work effectively in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Must possess a positive, “whatever it takes” attitude.
  • Must be well groomed and professional.
  • Must have an open mind and willingness to learn new processes, concepts, and ways of approaching analysis.
  • Must have strong customer service skills.
  • Must maintain the highest levels of confidentiality regarding client and staff.
  • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Knowledgeable in booking software
  • Must be able to satisfactorily communicate English with guests, management, and other associates to their understanding.
  • Combination of education equivalent to graduation from high school (High school diploma) or any other combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
