The Aircon Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings. The role requires expertise in handling various types of air conditioning units, including split, window, and centralized systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.

• Installation:
• Install air conditioning systems and equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
• Configure and connect various aircon components such as compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
• Maintenance:
• Perform regular maintenance checks on air conditioning systems to ensure they are functioning optimally.
• Clean aircon units, replace filters, and refill refrigerants.
• Repair:
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning units.
• Repair or replace defective parts, including compressors, motors, and thermostats.
• Customer Service:
• Communicate with clients to understand their air conditioning needs and address their concerns.
• Provide recommendations for system upgrades or replacements when necessary.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines during installations and repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with local and national regulations.

• Education and Certification:
• Must possess a National Certificate II (NCII) in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning from TESDA.
• Experience:
• At least 1-2 years of experience as an aircon technician or in a similar role.
• Experience in both residential and commercial air conditioning systems is preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of air conditioning systems and components.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to aircon installation and repair.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Good physical condition to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and moving heavy equipment.
• Other Requirements:
• Valid driver's license is a plus.
• Good communication skills and customer-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
