Description

The Finance Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the company’s financial operations and strategies. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, maintaining effective financial controls, and providing insights and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making. The Finance Manager will collaborate with various internal teams to implement sound financial practices, optimize cash flow, and support organizational goals.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to develop accurate and realistic financial plans.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial audits and tax filings in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and financing activities to optimize liquidity and support operational needs.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting and finance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring efficient processing of invoices, collections, and payments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as operations, sales, and procurement, to optimize financial processes and achieve organizational goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, changes in accounting standards, and regulatory developments, recommending and implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a focus on managerial and strategic financial oversight.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role, managing financial teams or projects.
  • Real estate industry experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Well organized with good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Work effectively with staff and management
  • Work independently
  • Organize tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks
  • Demonstrate good judgment and good problem-solving skills
