Job Title: Accounting Manager

About the job:

• An Accounting manager oversees the accounting departments and activities within an organization. Can work for businesses and organizations of all sizes in the private and public sectors. The main role is to ensure the organization maintains accurate and compliant financial records, policies, and practices. Supervise other accounting professionals and collaborate with managers from other departments. Involved in tax preparation, budgets and forecasts, and major organizational decisions.

Overall Functions, Duties, & Responsibilities:

• Monitor organizational spending and assist other managers in creating sustainable and effective budgets. They ensure resources are properly allocated and aligned with the organization's overall financial health.
• Ensure accountants maintain accurate and compliant financial records. They also produce and submit regular reports for managers and other stakeholders.
• Analyze financial information and reports to identify financial risks and opportunities. They look at trends and discrepancies and offer insights to help with the decision-making process.
• Lead a team of accountants and finance professionals, ensuring they produce timely and accurate work. They may provide training and mentorship to improve their team’s performance.
• Assist an organization in the making of financial decisions and strategies. They use financial data and reports to inform their insights and help the organization optimize its financial performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy. Having a master’s degree and knowledge of client relations is a plus.
• 5+ years experience in Accounting Management
• CPA License is a plus.
• Experience with construction industry.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and analytical skills that demonstrate the ability to present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple tasks and clients at once
• Exceptional analytical skills for interpreting client data
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
