Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Consultant to provide expert advice and support on financial management, accounting processes, and compliance. The ideal candidate will work closely with our finance team to optimize accounting practices, ensure accurate financial reporting, and help the organization meet its financial goals. This role requires in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and the ability to offer practical solutions to complex financial challenges.



  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
  • Process Improvement: Assess and improve existing accounting processes, ensuring they are efficient, accurate, and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring they are accurate, timely, and comply with relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
  • Compliance: Ensure the organization’s accounting practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and standards, advising on necessary changes or updates.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for financial planning.
  • Internal Controls: Evaluate and strengthen internal controls to minimize risk and ensure the integrity of financial information.
  • Advisory Services: Provide strategic advice on financial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, and cost management.
  • Training & Support: Offer training and support to the finance team on accounting best practices, software tools, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is not required but is an advantage.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in accounting, financial management, or consultancy roles, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.


Skills:

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
