Job Description

THIS IS NOT A JOB AD - Bossjob

We are facing a formidable but beatable enemy! We need more healthcare warriors in the fight against COVID-19!

We are looking for doctors, nurses, nurse assistants, and hospital orderlies who will heed the call to serve.

Accommodation & Food:

  • You will be provided with accommodation and food for the entire duration.

Allowance:

  • The DOH recognizes that no amount can compensate for the service rendered. However, the DOH, working within budgetary constraints and in consultation with stakeholders, will provide an allowance for every day of your 28 day tour of duty.
  • Daily allowance will be made through Paymaya, so please set up an account if you don't have one.
  • Sickness and life insurance (P100,000 and P1,000,000, respectively) will also be provided to all volunteers.

Our enemy may be invisible, but together, we are invincible!

Requirements

Once complete, you will do a mandatory on-site quarantine for 14 days as this work will involve direct contact with COVID-19 patients.

The hospitals will provide you with the personal protective equipment.

Click on "Apply Now" to find out more.

Next Steps:

  • Click "VOLUNTEER NOW!" - once you submit your form, a message will pop up on your screen thanking you - this is the confirmation that we have received your application.
  • Hospitals individually select the volunteers they need to support them. It may take some weeks for you to receive confirmation. Not all volunteers may be called - this will be dependent on the hospital needs and the severity of the pandemic.
  • If you are selected, (a process that may take some weeks due to the rolling need for different batches of volunteers) DOH Healthcare Warrior Portal will send you a text from "INFO" with a link you can follow to confirm your participation.
  • Join the FB page "DOH Healthcare Hero Portal" for further communications and updates.
  • Get ready to go to your hospital of placement for 28 days.
  • Attend an orientation and training.
  • Sign a contract and non-disclosure agreement.
  • Get to work!
