The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for transforming data into meaningful insights that support strategic business decisions. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data, developing dashboards and reports, identifying trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve business performance. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with business acumen and the ability to communicate insights effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and interpret data from multiple internal and external sources.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Identify business trends, patterns, and opportunities through data analysis.
• Collaborate with business units to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis initiatives.
• Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency.
• Document business requirements, reporting processes, and data definitions.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to management and business stakeholders.
• Stay current with emerging BI tools, technologies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related role.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and PivotTables.
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
