Job Summary:

Responsible for every aspect of the day to day supervision and discipline of the store including product inventory, implementation of company policy and standard operating procedures.

OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY

· Daily inspection and frequent floor walks in the selling area.

· Support the Store Manager in implementation of all policies and procedures in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

· Monitor employee compliance to SOP.

· Perform visual merchandising in line with the supplier’s standards and strategic positioning of merchandise set-up and display per Company guidelines/practices.

· Implement operations safety measures. Protect welfare of employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.

· Conduct product inventory. Prepare consolidated reports submitted by Promodiser/Merchandiser.

· Ensure appropriate inventory level is maintained. Replenishment must be coordinated with respective Merchandiser/Promodiser and Purchasing Department.

· Supervise product management of direct reports which includes ordering, receiving, price change, handling damaged items, and returns.

· Monitor slow and fast moving items. Ensure implementation of FIFO (First-In-First-Out) for all products.

· Conduct regular meeting to keep all direct reports informed of sales performance and other Company-related news and directives.

· Prepare promotional materials and display.

· Drive efforts in the branch to identify and implement a positive overall customer experience.

· Continuously review, recommend, introduce and improve store services and convenience.

CUSTOMER

· Proactively and positively handle escalated customer concerns.

· Follow policies and procedures in operations in addressing customer issues and requests.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

· Responsible for the daily organization and control of direct reports including management of daily work schedule.

· Perform HR-related functions not limited to recruitment, implementation of company discipline and continuous learning and growth of staff.

Job Specification:

· Educational Attainment

o Graduate of a 4-year course.

· Work Experience

o At least 2 years of work experience preferably in a retail company and with managerial capacity

o Customer Service-related experience is an advantage.
