Job Summary:
The Welder is responsible for performing welding and fabrication tasks required in the production of industrial fans, blowers, and metal components. Ensures quality, accuracy, and
durability of welded parts following engineering drawings and manufacturing standards. Maintains safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in all welding operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Weld and fabricate metal components used for fans and blowers (e.g., housings, brackets, bases, frames, impellers).
·Interpret
and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
· Perform MIG, TIG, and/or SMAW welding depending on production requirements.
· Inspect welding joints to ensure proper penetration, alignment, and quality.
· Use grinders, cutting tools, and other fabrication equipment safely.
· Fit, assemble, and tack weld parts prior to final welding.
· Conduct basic measurements using calipers, tape measures, and gauges.
· Maintain welding equipment and report any defects or need for repair.
· Ensure compliance with safety protocols, PPE usage, and company standards.
· Assist in other fabrication or assembly tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
· At least High School Graduate or Senior High School Graduate.
· Vocational or Technical course in Welding, Fabrication, or related field is an advantage.
· With valid NC II in SMAW, MIG, or TIG Welding is required.
Skills:
· Proficient in MIG, TIG, or SMAW welding methods.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
· Knowledgeable in metal fabrication tools and equipment.
· Good hand–eye coordination and attention to detail.
· Ability to perform quality checks on welded materials.
· Basic measurement and layout skills.
Working Conditions:
· May require lifting and standing for extended periods.
· Exposure to outdoor conditions and varying weather.
· Use of safety gear and equipment as needed.
