Job Summary

a Registered Master Electrician (RME), you will lead all electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization across the machine shop — covering production machinery, automated systems, and facility HVAC. You will ensure maximum operational uptime by diagnosing and repairing advanced systems including PLCs, VFDs, and SCADA‑monitored networks. You will also serve as the lead technical authority for electrical safety, code compliance, and permitting in full alignment with the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC).

Key Responsibilities

Automation & System Diagnostics

• Troubleshoot, isolate, and resolve faults in automated production machinery, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems using diagnostic tools and software interfaces.

SCADA & Power Monitoring

• Monitor facility power consumption and equipment performance through SCADA systems; identify inefficiencies and respond promptly to electrical anomalies, alarms, and emerging issues.

HVAC & Environmental Systems

• Oversee electrical maintenance, control calibration, and repair of industrial HVAC systems to maintain precise temperature and environmental conditions required for high‑precision machine shop operations.

Conveyors & Material Handling

• Maintain, align, and repair electrical motors, sensors, safety interlocks, and control panels on heavy‑duty conveyor belts and material handling equipment.

Compliance & Regulatory Authority

• Ensure all wiring, modifications, and installations strictly follow the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and local safety standards.
• Review, authorize, and sign electrical permits and compliance documentation within official RME regulatory limits.

Preventive Maintenance

• Perform scheduled inspections, thermal imaging, and load testing on low‑to‑medium voltage switchgear, distribution boards, and Motor Control Centers (MCCs) to prevent unplanned downtime.

Qualifications & Requirements

Licensure

• Active, valid RME license issued by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) —mandatory requirement.

Experience

• 3–5 years minimum hands‑on electrical maintenance experience in a machine shop, manufacturing plant, or automated industrial facility.

Technical Competencies

• Proficient in interpreting and modifying control schematics, single‑line diagrams,and pneumatic/hydraulic logic drawings.
• Proven experience troubleshooting industrial automation hardware — Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, or Mitsubishi PLC/VFD platforms are highly preferred
• Skilled in using precision test instruments: multimeters, insulation resistance testers (Megger), and PLC communication/configuration tools.

Safety Certification

• Valid Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) certification or equivalent industrial safety training.

Availability

• Willing to work rotating shifts, perform scheduled weekend maintenance, and respond to critical breakdowns or emergencies on call.
