JOB SUMMARY:

• Ensure compliance with internal policies as well as applicable legal and regulatory standards.
• Develop detailed plans for the creation and implementation of new training programs.
• Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design both required and specialized training courses.
• Document and track all revisions and enhancements made throughout the course development process.
• Ensure the accuracy and credibility of all data and references used in course materials.
• Compile and submit all research resources utilized in course development to the library.
• Maintain and organize quality-related documentation for departmental operations.
• Perform additional tasks as necessary to support the smooth and efficient operation of the department or organization.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field; certifications in instructional design, course development, or maritime education are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, training standards, and current industry trends.
• Proficiency in training design and course development methods.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and documentation skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
