Job Summary:

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and food items while providing excellent customer service. The role ensures adherence to product standards, cleanliness, food safety, and overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company standards.
• Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.
• Recommend products and upsell menu items when appropriate.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other beverage preparation equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the café, workstations, and dining areas.
• Monitor and replenish supplies such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and other materials.
• Ensure proper food handling, safety, and hygiene practices at all times.
• Handle cash, process payments, and reconcile transactions accurately.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries following FIFO principles.
• Address customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
• Support store operations to achieve sales, quality, and service targets.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate, Senior High School Graduate, or College Level.
• Experience as a Barista or in food service is an advantage.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage recipes.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
• Honest, reliable, and team-oriented.
