About Our Client: Our client is a leading provider of self-storage solutions, offering secure, convenient, and flexible storage options to meet the needs of both residential and business customers. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional customer service and providing personalized solutions for every customer.
Position Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales & Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling incoming phone calls, generating leads, managing collections, contributing to the Win Back department, and tracking competitor activity. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong customer service mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
1 Incoming Phone Calls:
- Answer and respond to customer inquiries in a professional, friendly, and timely manner.
- Provide information on available storage units, pricing, and services.
- Assist customers with reservations, bookings, and inquiries regarding our self-storage facilities.
- Resolve any customer concerns or issues by providing effective solutions.
2 Lead Generation:
- Actively engage with potential customers to generate new leads and sales.
- Qualify leads by assessing their storage needs and offering suitable solutions.
- Follow up with leads via phone, email, or in-person visits to convert them into customers.
3 Collections:
- Monitor customer accounts for payment status and outstanding balances.
- Follow up with customers regarding overdue payments, working to resolve issues and secure payments.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments and account updates.
4 Win Back Department:
- Reach out to former customers who have canceled their accounts to re-engage them.
- Identify reasons for cancellation and offer tailored solutions or promotions to win back their business.
- Track and report on win-back activities to measure success and adjust strategies accordingly.
5 Competitor Tracking:
- Research and track competitor pricing, promotions, and services.
- Provide feedback and insights to the management team regarding competitor offerings and market trends.
- Ensure our company remains competitive by adjusting strategies and offerings as necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role, preferably in a self-storage or retail environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
