Description
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and other IT infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform regular maintenance, updates, and backups to safeguard data and systems.
- Manage access rights and permissions, ensuring systems security and compliance.
- Collaborate with departments to understand and fulfill their technology needs.
- Stay updated on the latest technology developments and security threats.
- Provide user training and support to ensure efficient use of technology resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as an IT Specialist, IT Support Specialist, or in a similar role.
- Proficiency with Windows
- Knowledge of networking concepts, such as DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with system and network security practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
