Helps to ensure the achievement of daily production plans for welding; abides by code of discipline and standard operating procedures; able to follow work instructions and collaborate with other operators in order to approve productivity and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Operates MIG, TIG, Robot, and/or Laser welding machine
• Ensures the quality of products being worked on through grinding and alignment
• Learns skills that will improve productivity
• Safekeeping of tools and equipment is used in performing work-related tasks
• Immediately reports to leadman, any abnormality or irregularity regarding items produced, tools, equipment, and processes
• Observes production procedures related to safety and health at work
• Able to suggest improvements in work productivity and product quality
• Able to perform basic preventative maintenance of equipment and tools
• Ensures 7s is maintained
• Performs other related tasks from time to time

Qualifications

• At least high school graduate or relevant vocational course
• At least 1 year working experience in a related field
• Preferably 1-4 years experience in manufacturing/production operations or equivalent
• Must possess reasonable analytical skill
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Team player

Schedule

• Mondays to Saturdays, 7am - 4pm with frequent paid overtime
