A Welder is responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal parts and structures using various welding techniques while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Perform welding using methods such as arc, MIG, TIG, or gas welding
- Cut, shape, and prepare metal materials before welding
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures for quality and defects
- Repair damaged metal components and structures as needed
- Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition
- Follow safety procedures and use proper protective equipment
- Ensure work meets company and industry quality standards
