Core Responsibilities
- Welding & Fabrication: Operate GMAW/MIG welding equipment to fuse structural steel, metal frames, railings, and heavy equipment components.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and schematics to determine material layouts and welding requirements.
- Material Prep: Cut, grind, and shape metal parts using power saws, plasma cutters, and grinders.
- Quality Control: Inspect welds for strength, penetration, and compliance with construction codes.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict OSHA and local health standards by utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
