Description
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Take measurements to plan layouts and procedures.
- Set up welding equipment and machinery.
- Weld components in vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions.
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to ensure specifications are met.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
Requirement
- Experience in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, stick welding).
- Knowledge of safety procedures.
- Certification in welding is often required or preferred.
