Area Supervisor

About the Role

The Area Supervisor oversees the Valenzuela, Upper QC, and Manila Hubs, ensuring safe, smooth, efficient, and consistent operations while achieving operational targets and maintaining service excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily operations across three assigned hubs.
• Plan, direct, and monitor teams to achieve operational targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and operational guidelines.
• Assign and delegate tasks based on operational requirements.
• Establish proper checks, controls, and accountability within teams.
• Reassign duties as needed based on operational demands.
• Coordinate changes with the Immediate Head for proper documentation and turnover.
• Ensure compliance with permits, licenses, contracts, leases, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor company assets and promptly report loss, damage, or discrepancies.
• Oversee cashiering activities and provide support when needed.
• Maintain accurate operational records, databases, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with company leave policies.
• Review and approve VL/SL requests within assigned authority.
• Reschedule approved leaves when operational requirements require.
• Review team requests for repairs, supplies, and materials.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of hub supplies.
• Review petty cash replenishment before final approval.

Innovation

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and minimize operational costs.
• Use operational and industry data to recommend improvements.

People Management

• Lead hub personnel through coaching, counseling, and performance management.
• Ensure teams have the resources and support needed to perform effectively.
• Promote compliance with company policies and address performance concerns appropriately.
• Motivate teams and maintain high standards of performance and accountability.

Others

• Promote service excellence through the 4 Virtues of QUADX: Ximple, Xecure, Xertain, and Xeamless.
• Identify operational issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned, with appropriate orientation or training.

What You’ll Need

• Graduate of any four-year business-related course.
• Internal candidates: At least 2 years Team Leader experience.
• External candidates: At least 3 years relevant experience.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of business and management principles.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Goal-oriented with strong leadership skills.
• Innovative problem solver who generates practical solutions.
• Adaptable, resourceful, patient, and open to new ideas.
• Able to motivate teams toward high performance.
