JOB SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Officer-in-Charge of Materials, supervise all storeroom activities from the receipt of supplies and raw materials up to the release and dispatching.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : (Please indicate in order of importance the regular tasks performed by this job to achieve its purpose in the organization. As much as possible, follow the sentence syntax of WHAT, HOW & WHY)

1. Counter checks of RR, PO, and PR.

2. Issues a gate pass to all delivery vehicles and materials withdrawn from the storeroom.

3. Coordinates with the Purchasing Department regarding stock-outs and deliveries.

4. Directs and supervises warehouse workers in the maintenance of orderly and reliable recording of materials on hand and materials issued.

5. Directs and supervises safe and orderly storage of materials to prevent thefts, physical deterioration, obsolescence, errors, and misplacement of items.

6. Reviews all stock items regularly. Conducts physical inventory of stocks on hand on a random basis and supervises reconciliation of inventory records.

7. Makes a purchase requisition.

8. Performs good housekeeping procedures in his area.

9. Directs and supervises the classification and standardization of items by using letters or numbers to specify size, thickness, finish, color, etc. Designs and installs a system for locating and identifying stock in conjunction with the location file.

10. Monitors and evaluates the work performance of the crew and reports to the Officer-in-Charge, Materials.

11. Directs and supervises the dispatching of supplies to both farms (Pinugay and Pantay).

12. Checks all released stock through RWS.

13. Implements Company Rules and Regulations, Policies, and Procedures.

14. Recommends commendation, promotion, salary adjustment, transfers, and disciplinary action.

15. Practices religiously company rules and regulations on personnel conduct and other policies or programs concerning safety, security, energy, and materials conservation. Interprets such rules and regulations in the course of implementation, should the occasion arise.

16. Practices good housekeeping in this area of responsibility.

17. Performs other tasks from time to time as assigned by the Officer-in-Charge of Materials.
