Team Management:

Inventory Control:

• Oversee the receiving, storing, and distribution of goods.
• Ensure inventory levels are maintained and accurate.
• Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Shipping and Receiving:

• Coordinate and monitor the efficient movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.
• Ensure proper documentation (e.g., bills of lading, packing lists, etc.) for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Work with other departments (sales, purchasing, etc.) to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and adheres to safety regulations.
• Implement and enforce health and safety procedures to reduce the risk of injury or accidents.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, industry standards, and company policies.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Implement new systems and technologies to streamline warehouse operations.
• Resolve operational challenges and improve workflow.

Equipment Management:

• Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and report any issues for repair.

Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipping, and receiving activities.
• Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and order fulfillment.
