Supervision and staff management: Supervise and direct the activities of warehouse

• staff, which includes assigning tasks, setting work schedules, and
• managing daily workloads. The supervisor is also responsible for training
• new employees, coaching the team, and conducting performance evaluation

Inventory control: Oversee all inventory management activities, including

• receiving, storing, shipping, and conducting regular cycle counts and
• audits to ensure accuracy.

Process and efficiency improvement: Monitor productivity and identify areas

• for improvement in warehouse operations. The supervisor implements new
• procedures and creative solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.

Safety and maintenance: Enforce all health and safety regulations (e.g.,

• OSHA) and company policies, keeping safety as a top priority. They are
• also responsible for the inspection and routine maintenance of warehouse
• machinery and equipment, such as forklifts.
• Reporting and documentation: Maintain and update all necessary documentation,
• including shipping and receiving records, manifests, and inventory
• reports. The supervisor also monitors and reports on key performance
• indicators (KPIs) to Warehouse and Logistics Assistant Manager
• Collaboration and communication: Act as a point of contact between warehouse staff
• and other departments. They coordinate with other departments, such as purchasing,
• accounting, audit and HR
• Logistics coordination: Coordinate and monitor all inbound and outbound
• shipments, ensuring timely and proper delivery and receipts of products
