About the role

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our team at SYC Philippine Corporation. As a fulltime Workshop Supervisor based in Pasig City, Metro Manila, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe operation of our workshop, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

1. Supervising and coordinating the work of welding and boilermaking teams to ensure timely completion of projects
2. Monitoring work quality and productivity, and implementing corrective actions as needed
3. Ensuring that all workshop activities comply with health and safety regulations
4. Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to workshop operations
5. Providing technical guidance and support to the welding and boilermaking teams
6. Collaborating with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination
7. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing them

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role in the trades and services industry, preferably in welding and boilermaking
2. Strong technical knowledge and expertise in welding and boilermaking procedures and practices
3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
4. Ability to lead and motivate a team, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
6. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
7. Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations
