- A Warehouse Partsman, also known as a Parts Technician or Parts Clerk, is responsible for managing, organizing, and distributing parts within a warehouse.
- Typically in industries like automotive or heavy equipment.
- This role ensures that the correct parts are available when needed for repairs, maintenance, or sales.
- Holds a degree in engineering or another relevant field (e.g. logistics, supply chain, or industrial management).
- At least one year of experience in warehouse operations and inventory control.
- A safety officer certificate is advantageous—but not mandatory.
- Proficient in inventory handling, Microsoft Office, and SAP.
- Meticulous, dedicated, and responsible.
- Conducts regular inspections and organizes stocked parts.
- Ensures efficient and timely release of parts upon order.
- Performs random inventory checks at all times to detect discrepancies.
- Reports any unusual findings in stocking or inventory to supervisors.
