Description
- Greet customers and offer menus.
- Take meal and beverage orders from customers and place these orders in the kitchen.
- Make menu recommendations and inform patrons of any specials.
- Deliver meals and beverages to tables when they have been prepared.
- Check that customers are satisfied with their meal.
- Prepare the bill for tables when requested.
- Cash up bills and ensure that the correct amount has been paid.
- Administer change to tables if needed.
- Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
- Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
- Knowledgeable in banquet events
Requirement
- Bachelors Degree of HRM or it's equivalent
- Experience with POS terminals
- At least one year experience as a waiter
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Effective multitasking and time management skills.
- Enthusiastic, friendly and well mannered.
- Must have patience while dealing with a customer.
- Basic computer or software knowledge.
