JOB SUMMARY

This role assists clients and Operations Team with inquiries related to visa and passport applications and renewals. The Visa Officer is responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of client’s online and on-site travel document applications.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handles visa and passport related inquiries and processes all application and renewal requests for the company.
  • Verifies the completeness and accuracy of all required documents for visa and passport processing.
  • Communicates and follows up with clients regarding deadlines for requirement submission and the release of visas or passports, ensuring strict adherence to timelines.
  • Liaise with various embassies, Bureau of Immigration (BOI), Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), and other government offices to verify and coordinate legal documents for visa and passport applications and renewals.
  • Strictly monitors and safeguards all confidential documents and information, preventing disclosure to unauthorized internal or external resources.
  • Stays informed about new policies and processes released by the government agencies, such as DFA and BOI, and secure any newly required documents.
  • Collates and ensures the accuracy and up-to-date status of all visa related details and requirements for various countries.
  • Regularly updates the Operations Team on visa information and travel restrictions.
  • Provides support to Operations Team for inquiries related to travel restriction or travel document.
  • Performs travel assistant duties as needed or available.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Educational Attainment: Graduate of Senior High School or two (2)-year college course, preferably Tourism/ HRM or other related field
  • Work Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience within the travel industry, with at least six (6) months specifically in travel documentations processing.

  • Basic knowledge in travel documentations processing
  • Basic knowledge in visa processing and embassy liaising
  • Good English oral and written communication
  • Detail-oriented with utmost focus on quality and efficiency
