Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior veterinarians in diagnosing and treating animals.
• Conduct physical examinations and assess animal health.
• Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist during surgical procedures and monitor anesthesia when required.
• Collect and analyze laboratory samples (blood, urine, feces, etc.).
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment histories.
• Provide emergency and first-aid care to animals when needed.
• Educate pet owners on preventive healthcare, nutrition, and post-treatment care.
• Ensure proper handling and restraint of animals.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of examination rooms, surgical areas, and equipment.
• Follow all veterinary medical protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM/BVM or equivalent).
• Valid veterinary license or eligibility for licensure (as required by local regulations).
• Previous clinical or internship experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of animal diseases, diagnostics, and treatment procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Compassionate attitude toward animals and their owners.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency cases.
