- Feeding, bathing, and exercising animals
- Cleaning and disinfecting cages, equipment, and work areas
- Monitoring animals before and after procedures

- Maintaining medical records and inventory
- Providing general support to the veterinary team
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- On-the-job training or a veterinary assistant training program
- Knowledge of animal care and safety practices
- Basic computer and record-keeping skills
