Veterinary Nurse will assist veterinarians in providing high-quality medical care and treatment to animals. Responsibilities include assisting with examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures, administering medications, maintaining medical records, and providing compassionate care and support to both animals and their owners.

ANIMAL CARE AND HANDLING

• Assist with restraining animals during examinations, treatments, and procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Monitor and assess the condition of animals, reporting any changes to veterinarians.

PATIENT ADMINISTRATION

• Prepare surgical and medical equipment, ensuring cleanliness and sterility.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
• Prepare samples for diagnostic imaging (X-rays, ultrasounds) and assist with these procedures.
• Respond to emergencies involving injured or critically ill animals, providing immediate care and assistance.
• Monitor vital signs and administer emergency treatments under the direction of veterinarians.

CLINIC MAINTENANCE

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of veterinary facilities, including exam rooms, treatment areas, and kennels.
• Sterilize and maintain medical equipment and instruments.
• Monitor inventory of medical supplies and medications, ensuring adequate stock levels.

• At least college level in any medical course
• At least one (1) year in Veterinary Practice
• Strong passion for animal care and welfare, Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment,
• Physical ability to lift and restrain animals as needed
• Proven experience in patient care
