URGENT HIRING: Accounting Assistant
Job Description
Description
- To update lapsing schedules of the Company's office property and equipment. Submit every 10th of the month.
- To prepare a monthly alpha list of Creditable Withholding Tax (CWT). Submit every 10th of the month.
- To handle facultative reinsurance (RI) accounts as follows:
- Sending out of the statement of account of the following every 10th of the month:
- Premiums due from Reinsurers Recoverable on paid losses (cash calls)
- Prepare request for payment of premiums payable with PPW every 15th of the month.
- To coordinate with the RI counterparts for RI check exchanges
- Prepare the 2023 Alpha list of Creditable Withholding Tax (CWT)
- To perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirement
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of experience required; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong mathematical and analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, excellent attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Working Conditions: Office setting, Monday to Friday; may require overtime if necessary
