- Loading and unloading: Load and unload cargo, verifying the accuracy of the load before departure and upon arrival.
- Delivery: Ensure timely delivery of goods according to the company's schedule.
- Safety and compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, policies, and processes at all times.
- Logbook and record-keeping: Maintain an accurate logbook of driving hours, deliveries completed, and rest periods.
- Vehicle maintenance: Perform basic vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspections.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders regarding delivery status.
