Automotive Mechanic – Job Description

An Automotive Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining cars and other motor vehicles. They identify mechanical and electrical issues, perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and brake servicing, replace faulty parts, and ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Automotive mechanics use diagnostic tools and follow manufacturer guidelines to complete repairs while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Must have automotive mechanic vocational certificate or any related course.
• With at least 6 months to 1year work experience of any exposure(Electrical, Welding, Painting, Mechanical , Tinsmith etc.)
• computer literate
• with good communication skills
• Must be a resident of Imus Cavite or nearby locations
• Can immediately start.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect and diagnose vehicle problems
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing
• Handles Minor and Major vehicle repair or replace damaged or worn parts
• Test vehicles after repairs to ensure proper operation
• Identify and request materials to be used for the repair
• Maintain accurate service records
• Follow safety procedures and workplace standards
