This position is an urgent replacement hire for the Accounting Manager role due to a vacancy.

The successful candidate will be appointed to the GIS Treasurer role immediately upon hiring and will play a key role in strengthening the company’s financial and treasury functions.

Position Summar

The Accounting Manager / Treasurer will be responsible for end-to-end accounting and finance operations for a construction business, while simultaneously overseeing treasury and cash management functions.

Although prior experience as a Treasurer is not mandatory, the role requires a professional who can confidently perform treasury-related responsibilities, including cash flow control, bank coordination, and financial governance, with support from management as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance (Construction Industry)

－Oversee full-scope accounting operations, including general ledger, monthly, and annual closing

－Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with local regulations

－Act as the main person in charge of audit coordination, including direct liaison with external auditors

－Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements

－Manage accounting processes related to construction projects, such as cost allocation, progress billing, and project-based accounting

－Supervise and guide accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting

Treasury & Financial Management

－Serve as the company’s Treasurer, overseeing daily and medium-term cash flow management

－Monitor cash position and ensure sufficient liquidity for ongoing construction projects

－Coordinate with banks and financial institutions, including account management and payment approvals

－Support financing-related matters such as credit lines, loans, and payment scheduling

－Implement and maintain appropriate internal controls related to cash and treasury operations

－Work closely with management on financial planning and risk management

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Accountancy
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – mandatory
• Minimum 15 years of accounting experience, with at least 10 years in the construction industry
• Strong hands-on experience in accounting management and audit handling
• Solid understanding of finance and cash flow management
• Prior Treasurer experience is not required, but the candidate must be capable of fulfilling treasury responsibilities
• Ability to take ownership and contribute to the company on a long-term basis
• Experience in a managerial or senior accounting role is required
