Duties and Responsibilities:

Cash Management

• Monitor the daily cash position of all BFC Inc. and BFC Trading bank accounts.
• Prepare the Daily Cash Position Report and recommend fund transfers when necessary.
• Monitor available funds to ensure sufficient liquidity for payroll, supplier payments, rentals, taxes, and other operating requirements.

Payment Execution

• Process approved payments through checks, online banking, and other authorized payment channels based on the payment schedule endorsed by the Accounts Payable team.
• Prepare checks, bank transfer instructions, and payment confirmations.
• Maintain an accurate monitoring of released, unreleased, and outstanding checks.

Banking Operations

• Coordinate with partner banks for deposits, fund transfers, account maintenance, check encashment, bank certifications, and other banking requirements.
• Monitor daily bank transactions and report unusual or unauthorized transactions immediately.

Collection and Monitoring

• Monitor daily collections from franchisees, including Royalties & Marketing Fees, franchise package payments, and other franchise-related receipts.
• Monitor customer collections of BFCT for merchandise, equipment, and other trade receivables.
• Coordinate with the Accounts Receivable team to ensure collections are deposited and applied promptly.
• Ensure timely deposit and proper documentation of collections received through bank transfers, checks, and other payment channels.

Other Duties

• Perform other treasury-related functions that may be assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, Banking and Finance, or any related business course.
• With relevant work experience in Treasury, Cash Management, or Finance Operations; experience in the food & beverage, retail, franchising, or trading industry is an advantage.
• Knowledge of treasury operations, banking transactions, cash flow management, and payment processing.
• Familiarity with online banking platforms, fund transfers, check management, and bank reconciliations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with banks and internal stakeholders.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
