We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Travel Consultant who will be responsible for managing bookings, rebookings, and ticketing for domestic, regional, and some international travel. This role includes handling transactional requirements using mid-office systems, issuing tickets, and addressing minor travel issues. The Corporate Travel Consultant communicates professionally with clients and team members, ensuring efficient travel arrangements and high levels of client satisfaction. The position suits individuals new to corporate travel or with limited experience in handling complex travel arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Book, rebook, and ticket travel for domestic, regional, and occasional international itineraries
• Use mid-office systems and Global Distribution Systems (GDS) to manage travel transactions
• Communicate with clients and internal teams via phone and email to provide travel updates and support
• Resolve basic travel issues, including fare discrepancies and minor Airline Debit Memos (ADMs)
• Assist with administrative tasks such as email management, scheduling, and payment requests
• Escalate complex travel issues to senior consultants when necessary
• Support the team in improving booking efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Tourism, Travel Management or related field.
• Basic understanding of GDS systems (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo); training available
• Prior experience with travel booking and ticketing is preferred but not required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks efficiently
• Team player with a willingness to learn and grow in the industry
