Gang Trainer (Retail Operations)

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Gang Trainer to join our Retail Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for training, coaching, and developing Retail Service Personnel (RSP) to ensure excellent customer service, strong sales performance, and compliance with company standards and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct onboarding and orientation programs for newly hired Retail Service Personnel.
• Facilitate training sessions on customer service, sales techniques, merchandising, company policies, and store operations.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and mentoring to improve employee performance and productivity.
• Monitor and evaluate personnel performance and recommend development plans or retraining when needed.
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure compliance with grooming, attendance, and operational standards.
• Ensure proper implementation of promotions, visual merchandising standards, and product knowledge initiatives.
• Collaborate with Store Supervisors, Area Managers, and HR on training needs and performance improvement programs.
• Prepare training materials, attendance records, training reports, and evaluation results.
• Identify skill gaps and implement learning interventions to enhance employee effectiveness.
• Conduct refresher training, toolbox meetings, and reinforcement sessions on company policies and best practices.
• Support employee engagement activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in manpower deployment and readiness of store personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Marketing, or any related field.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, training, sales supervision, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, customer service, sales, and merchandising standards.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong coaching, facilitation, and people development skills.
• Willing to travel and conduct store visits within assigned areas.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
