The Telemarketer is responsible for identifying and contacting potential customers through phone calls and other communication channels. The position supports the Account Manager by generating potential leads, conducting initial customer research, introducing the company’s products and services, and identifying prospects who may have a need for fuel products and related services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers and introduce the company’s products and services.
• Identify and qualify potential customers or sales leads for the Account Manager.
• Research companies and businesses that may use fuel or petroleum-related products.
• Gather basic information about potential customers, including company name, contact person, industry, location, and fuel requirements.
• Maintain and update the prospect and customer database.
• Schedule appointments or coordinate calls between qualified prospects and the Account Manager.
• Follow up with prospects through phone calls, email, or other appropriate communication channels.
• Assist Account Managers in researching new customers and potential business opportunities.
• Record call results, customer responses, and follow-up requirements accurately.
• Prepare basic reports regarding calls, leads generated, follow-ups, and customer responses.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks related to sales activities.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally and endorse concerns to the appropriate Account Manager or department.
• Meet assigned daily or weekly call and lead-generation targets.
• Perform other sales and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

• College graduate or undergraduate with relevant experience; OJT and fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Male or Female 
• 18 years old in above 
• With or without experience in telemarketing, sales, customer service, or similar roles is an advantage.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident and professional when speaking with customers over the phone.
• Good listening and customer-handling skills.
• Basic research and internet skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar computer applications.
• Organized and able to maintain accurate records
• Willing to learn about fuel products, customers, and the company’s sales process.
• Goal-oriented, proactive, and persistent in following up with prospects.
