Job Description

Magellan Communications Corporation is looking for experienced Field Technicians and Drive Test Resources to support ongoing telecommunications deployment and Radio Access Network activities across the Philippines.

We welcome applications from qualified individual professionals, field teams, and subcontractors with hands-on experience in Nokia 4G RAN equipment, network installation, integration, and telecom infrastructure activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and support Nokia 4G RAN equipment.
• Perform installation and integration of eNodeB equipment using AirScale or Flexi BBU-RRU platforms.
• Install and connect SFP modules, routers, and other network devices.
• Install and daisy-chain GNSS antennas.
• Support RAN-to-Core connectivity involving S1, X2, IP/MPLS, and O&M interfaces.
• Perform fiber-optic patching, structured cabling, grounding, labeling, and power-related activities.
• Conduct ISP and rack-and-stack activities.
• Install, cable, power up, and integrate routers, switches, servers, firewalls, optical transport devices, and other telecommunications equipment.
• Perform cable management, cross-connects, equipment testing, troubleshooting, and network turn-up.
• Complete assigned field documentation and activity reports.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with Nokia 4G RAN hardware.
• Experience with AirScale and Flexi BBU-RRU platforms.
• Knowledge of SFP modules, router connectivity, and GNSS antenna installation.
• Strong understanding of RAN-to-Core interfaces, including S1, X2, IP/MPLS, and O&M.
• Familiarity with fiber optics, structured cabling, grounding, and power requirements.
• Experience with ISP, gateway, data center, or telecommunications environments.
• Ability to perform installation, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and equipment turn-up.
• Willing to be assigned to different project locations in the Philippines.
