Job Summary

The LED Wall Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and testing LED display panels, video walls, and related electronic components. The role ensures that all LED systems are operating efficiently and meet quality standards for indoor and outdoor installations. The technician provides both workshop and on-site technical support when required.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Repair and Maintenance

• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in LED wall systems.
• Repair defective LED modules, receiving cards, power supplies, HUB boards, and signal cables.
• Replace damaged components and perform board-level repairs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and periodic inspections.
• Perform pixel calibration and color consistency checks.
• Maintain proper documentation of repairs and service activities.

Installation and Configuration

• Install and dismantle LED display screens and video walls.
• Configure LED controllers, processors, and software.
• Perform system testing before deployment.
• Ensure proper electrical connections and signal distribution.
• Support live events and provide on-site troubleshooting.

Inventory and Equipment Management

• Maintain repair tools and testing equipment.
• Organize spare parts and inventory.
• Prepare service reports and maintenance records.
• Ensure equipment cleanliness and proper storage.

Safety and Compliance

• Follow electrical and workplace safety procedures.
• Ensure proper handling of electronic components and sensitive devices.
• Observe company policies and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Electronics Technology, Electrical Technology, Computer Engineering, or related Technical-Vocational course.
• At least 1–3 years of experience in LED display, electronics, audiovisual systems, or television repair.
• NC II Electronics Servicing certification is an advantage.
• Experience with Novastar, Colorlight, or similar LED control systems is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of electronic circuits and PCB troubleshooting.
• Soldering and component replacement skills.
• Understanding of AC/DC power supplies.
• Familiarity with LED video processors and controllers.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of LAN networking and signal transmission.
• Basic computer troubleshooting skills.
