Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and reliable CCTV Technician with experience in auxiliary/security systems installation and maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining CCTV systems and other low-voltage auxiliary systems such as access control, fire alarm, PA system, intercom, and structured cabling.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems including IP and analog cameras
• Set up and troubleshoot DVRs, NVRs, and remote monitoring systems
• Install and terminate structured cabling such as CAT5e, CAT6, coaxial, and fiber optic cables
• Perform maintenance and repair of auxiliary systems including:
• Access Control Systems
• Fire Alarm Systems
• Public Address (PA) Systems
• Intercom Systems
• Door Entry Systems
• Structured Cabling
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
• Configure network devices related to security systems
• Ensure proper camera positioning, recording quality, and system functionality
• Read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and schematics
• Prepare service reports and installation documentation
• Provide technical support and user training to clients
• Follow safety procedures and company installation standards

Qualifications

• Vocational diploma or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Technology, IT, or related field
• Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or Auxiliary Systems Technician
• Knowledge of IP networking and low-voltage systems
• Familiarity with security system brands and configurations
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and network-related issues
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to travel and work on-site when required
